Gaming licences, start to granted

Choosing the regulator sets your tax, your banking and how fast you can launch. We make that call with you, then carry the filing through to the permit.

Jurisdictions

What each one actually buys you

There is no best licence, only the one that fits your markets, your payment stack and how much scrutiny you are prepared to carry.

cw

Curaçao

One licence covering every vertical, which is why it suits a first launch and a business already scaling. The 2024 reform gave it a real regulator, so the file takes more work than it used to and the result is worth more.

  • All verticals, one permit
  • 0 to 2% effective tax
  • Crypto accepted

km

Anjouan

The quickest and cheapest way to a live project. Choose it when time to market matters more than the name in your footer, and plan the banking around its limits.

  • Fastest turnaround
  • Lowest entry cost
  • Light reporting

ca

Tobique

An alternative to the classic offshore names, useful when you would rather not sit on the same register as everyone else. Similar economics to Anjouan, different reputation.

  • Offshore alternative
  • Low ongoing burden
  • Crypto accepted

mt

Malta

The MGA is the hardest of these to obtain, and that is the point: it is the licence that opens payment providers, banks and partners the others cannot. Expect real substance and real reporting.

  • Tier-one regulator
  • About 5% after deductions
  • Best banking access

im

Isle of Man

Standing plus flexibility for international operators, with a regulator that expects to see genuine management on the island rather than a mailbox.

  • Strong reputation
  • Flexible models
  • Established banking

The trade

One axis, and everything else follows

Speed and cost at one end, acceptance and standing at the other. No licence sits at both.

Anjouan Cheapest, fastest, lightest reporting
Tobique Same economics, less crowded register
Nevis 0% offshore, strong asset protection
Curaçao All verticals in one permit, real regulator since 2024
Malta Hardest to get, opens every bank and PSP
Fast · cheap · light Respected · bankable · demanding

Tax is the smallest difference

Between 0% offshore and roughly 5% in Malta there is less money than most founders expect. It rarely deserves to be the deciding factor.

Banking is the largest

A Maltese licence gets answered by banks and payment providers. The offshore permits get filtered out before a human reads the application, and you will spend the saving on workarounds.

Scrutiny follows acceptance

Everything that makes a licence respected also makes it demanding: real management on the ground, mandatory AML, audits that happen. You are choosing how much of that you want to run.

How it runs

Four stages, nothing hidden between them

01

Fit assessment

Your markets, payment plans and appetite for scrutiny against what each regulator will actually approve. This is where the licence is chosen, and it is the decision that costs the most to reverse.

02

Structure and filing

Company, directors and substance put in place first, because the application asks about all three. Then the file is assembled and submitted.

03

Regulator liaison

Their questions answered, follow-ups supplied, the file kept moving. You hear from us when something needs a decision, not for every acknowledgement email.

04

Life after the grant

Reporting calendar, renewals and the compliance routine you now have to run, set up so none of it arrives as a surprise.
